A Doctor to fix all the pains

Hey this is Chris and this is my submission for the deck doctor competition. Lets start with the Rock Stun deck that Billy Brake made.

With this deck I see where Billy is trying to go with it using the card troopers to mill of cards to target for Block Golem. With the standard line up of defensive traps. The Seal of Orichalcos the only benefit you receive is the fact that you get a 500 atk boost to get over cards but there are other cards that could go into the deck to replace it.

Here is my fixes to this deck.

-3 Block Golem

-1 Sandman

-1 Wall

-2 Card Trooper

-1 Soul Taker

-1 Seal of Orichalcos

-1 Call of the Haunted

These cards were removed for these reasons. I got rid of the Block Golem and the Card trooper because I feel that this combo can be very self-destructive. With card trooper you are really taking the chance with milling all spells and traps and I feel as though there is more things you can do to stun them because you know the point of the deck is to stun your opponent not cripple your own self. I took out a Soul Taker because I prefer to play with a smashing ground and a Soul Taker main decked. I already told you why I took out Seal of Orichalcos earlier. I took out one Call of the Haunted because I personally hate opening up with both copies of Call of the haunted in my hand with out any monsters for me to target till later in the duel when at the time its all but over. Also I took out 1 copy of Sandman and wall because when you draw too many you wont have any possibilities to have any outs when you are down and need to make a Jesus sized comeback. With the things I have added it can help you make that comeback.

Here is what I added

As you can see I added a line up of darks and lights into the deck. I personally think the best stun card you could have is Black Luster Solider. So I’ve added the basic light and dark stun cards such as spirit reaper which I love because it makes your opponent have to waste a card to get rid of it and it will most defiantly give you an advantage. Gale is there to get over card that are 2500atk or less with her halfing effect and in a pinch she is a great card to synchro with to things like black rose to nuke the field in times of trouble. Effect veiler to me is very standard this format so I had to squeeze it into the deck. Now with Doocaliber knight I debated putting him in here or not because of his mandatory effect of tributing him when a monster’s effect is activated but its effect can cripple your opponent and will make them waste a card to get rid of it.

I took those out because in this deck there is no way possible to summon these monsters with out changing the deck around some more. I added the black rose to the mix when you have gale and another level 4 and you cant get over your opponent’s field and you can use black rose to reset. I added in the Utopia and Maestroke to provide defense if your back is against the wall.

Now lets take a look at the Gishki Hero deck that Joe built

As you can see this deck is ran with out traps and with that I see one car that I would add that can give you an advantage but I will talk about that bellow. I see a lot of dead draw opportunities with having a bunch of plasmas in your hand without any trade ins or destiny draws and drawing a bunch of miracle fusions with no targets is never good.

Here is what I changed

-2 Mystical space typhoon

-1 Destiny Hero- Plasma

I took out 2 Mystical space typhoons because in this type of deck I prefer to not draw so many mystical space typhoons so I took out two and replace them with a more effective card that ends chains. I took out one more miracle fusion because it becomes a dead draw quickly when you burnt the other two. Also with triple miracle fusion your bound to draw at least one at the start which makes it dead in your hand till you drop heroes in the grave which their aren’t many in the deck so I got rid of one to make room for more heroes to make the other two more potent. The two destiny cards were taken out for the heroes I am adding in this deck to give your extra deck a boost and give you more control of the field.

Here is what I added

+2 Super Poly

+1 Treacherous Trap hole

I added the two Alius to give you the chance to make the shining and it’s a great play first turn to set the super poly summon Alius and pass turn then as soon as the time present in there turn boom super poly and heroes have all the attributes so no matter what is summon it has the super poly potential. I added the treacherous trap hole because the deck is not running any traps so no matter what this trap can be live when your opponent swarms the field. Even you can do a one for one with a sangan you just summon to get rid of their monster and get to search and add a card to your hand from sangan’s effect.

With the addition of these hero extra deck cards it makes the miracle fusions and super polys live in your deck. These extra deck cards will help you get control of the game when you really need it.

These Decks was very interesting and I really had fun doing this and I hope that I can continue doing this for your reading pleasure.
