Here we are in our last feature match of our swiss rounds. We have a whopper of feature match for you guys here because both of our players are ARG Circuit Series winners. First we have Kevin Silva from San Diego, California playing HAT. His opponent is Nate Forte from Cleveland, OH and he is playing T.G. Hand Madolche. Kevin rolls a 6 and Nate rolls a 7, he chooses to go first. Let’s jump right into the match without further ado.
Game 1
Nate opens with Bottomless Trap Hole, Madolche Messengelato, Madolche Anjelly, Compulsory Evacuation Device, and Maxx “C”. He Normal Summons Anjelly and tributes it for Madolche Hootcake, Hootcake banishes Anjelly to Special Summon Messengelato from deck to add Madolche Ticket. He plays the Ticket and he sets the two traps to end.
Kevin Normal Summons Cardcar D and it gets sent back to his hand by Compulsory. He sets 4 back row to end.
Nate draws Solemn Warning for his turn. He turns both monsters to Attack and enters Battle Phase to attack directly for 3100 dropping Kevin to 4900. Main Phase 2 he activates Maxx “C” to put a monster in the graveyard for Hootcake, he activates his effect targeting Maxx “C” and Kevin activates Fiendish Chain to stop the effect. Nate presses on Normal Summoning his in hand Messengelato and sets the Solemn Warning. On End Phase Nate shuffles back Hootcake and Kevin activates Mystical Space Typhoon to destroy the Ticket. He also Mystical Space typhoons his set Moralltach destroying it and Special Summons itself getting banished by Bottomless Trap Hole and letting Nate draw Effect Veiler.
Kevin sets 3 and ends.
Nate draws Forbidden Lance and attacks over Cardcar D. He sets Forbidden Lance and ends.
Kevin sets another and ends.
Nate draws Mst for turn and attacks directly.
Kevin summons Traptrix Myrmeleo into Solemn Warning and he presses on with Soul Charge to summon Myrmeleo to target the set Mystical Space Typhoon which is chained to destroy Breakthrough Skill which is chained to target Messengelato.
Nate draws Hootcake for turn and Normal Summons it to have Kevin concede into Game 2. Nate Forte draws his combos and Kevin can’t put anything together to stay in the game. Kevin chooses to go First.
Game 2
Kevin starts off with Pot of Duality for Cardcar D, Wiretap, and Compulsory Evacuation Device, taking the Cardcar D. He sets 3 and summons Cardcar D to draw 2.
Nate 2 Madolche Magileine, Madolche Hootcake, D.D. Crow, and Mystical Space Typhoon. He Normal Summons a Magileine and activates the effect but is shut down by Breakthrough Skill. Attacks directly for 1400 dropping Kevin to 6600. He sets Mystical Space Typhoon to end.
Kevin Normal Summons Ice hand and attacks to crash with Magileine, Nate activates Mystical Space Typhoon on Kevins Solemn Warning causing him to lose his Ice Hand and Magileine shuffles into the deck. He sets another back row to end.
Nate draws Ice Hand for turn. He summons his second Magileine to search Madolche Anjelly. He attacks directly for 1400 dropping Keving to 6600. Then ends after that.
Kevin Summons Fire Hand to attack over for 200 putting Nate to 7800, shuffling Magileine back into the deck. He sets another back row and ends.
Nate draws T.G. Warwolf for his turn. He summons Messengelato and attacks, Kevin activates Artifact Ignition to destroy Artifact Beagalltach and it gets banished by D.D. Crow, setting Artifact Moralltach with the effect of Ignition. He activates Artifact Sanctum to Special Summon another Artifact Moralltach to destroy the Messengelato and shuffle it back into the deck. Nate ends with that..
Kevin attacks for 3700 dropping Nate to 4100 and sets another back row to end.
Nate draws Torrential Tribute for turn. He sets Ice Hand and Torrential to end.
Kevin draws for turn and activates Mystical Space Typhoon on the Torrential. He activates Compulsory Evacuation Device on the Ice Hand and summons Fire Hand to attack with all of his monsters to take the game!
Kevin draws everything he needs to play out of Nate’s hand of mostly monsters to take Game 2. Nate will be going first in the final game of Swiss.
Game 3
Nate opens with 2 Madolche Hootcake, Mystical Space Typhoon, Soelmn Warning, and Ticket. He sets a Hootcake, 2 back row and activates Madolche Ticket.
Kevin summons Traptrix Myrmeleo for turn and it gets Solemn warning’d taking Nate to 6000. He sets 5 to end.
Nate draws and Normal Summon T.G. Warwolf, and Flip Summons Hootcake. He enters Battle Phase to attack, Mystical Space Typhoon is activated on a set Moralltach to Special Summon itself and destroys Ticket. He Xyz Summons Wind-Up Zenmaines which gets Compulsed on end phase.
Kevin attacks with Myrmeleo for 1600 dropping Nate to 6400. He sets a backrow to end.
Nate draws another Hootcake for turn. He Normal Summons Hootcake and banishes Warwolf to summon Anjelly and tributed for Messengelato to get Madolche Chateau. Chateau shuffles back the Anjelly and Hootcake from the Graveyard to the deck. He ends with that.
Kevin draws and enters battle to attack over the Hootcake for 100 dropping Nate to 6300, letting Nate add it back to hand.
Nate draws Anjelly for turn. He crashes with Moralltach and Messengelato but it was summoned by Anjelly so it stays on the field. Main Phase 2 he summons Anjelly, tributing to special Summon Hootcake banishing Anjelly to Special Summon Magileine and uses it with Messengelato to Xyz Madolche Queen Tiaramisu. Tiaramisu shuffles back Kevin’s back row and adds Messengelato and also shuffling back Ticket to deck.
Kevin activates Pot of Duality revealing Soul Charge, Traptrix Myrmeleo, and Traptrix Dioanaea, taking the Dionaea. He summons Cardcar D to tribute it to draw 2 and it ends.
Nate draws Mind Control for turn. He Normal Summons Hootcake and Xyz Summons for Leviair to bring back Anjelly and tributes it for Messengelato. He attacks with all 3 monsters to drop Kevin to 1400 and passes after that.
Kevin draws to 4 in hand. He Normal Summons Dionaea to Special Summon back Myrmeleo from the graveyard and destroy Chateau. Dionaea and Myrmeleo are used to Xyz Summon Evilswarm Exciton Knight. He attacks with Exciton over Messengelato for 300 dropping nate to 3500. He activates Exction’s effect to destroy Leviair and Tiaramisu.
Nate draws Ice Hand for his turn. He Normal Summons Hootacake for turn and it gets set by Book of Moon, causing him to end.
Kevin summons Myrmeleo for turn getting Bottomless Trap Hole. He attacks over with Myrmeleo and directly with Exction dropping nate to 1600. He sets 2 and ends.
Nate draws Messengelato for turn. He Normal Summons Ice Hand and crashes into Myrmeleo to destroy Bottomless Trap Hole taking 200 dropping to 1400 and special summoning Fire Hand. “Am I at 1400?” asks Kevin, the crowd erupts in laughter because the hand loop clears the field by crashing the fire hand into Myrmeleo to destroy Exciton and Special Summon Ice Hand to attack for game! Kevin reveals his set Traptrix Trap Hole Nightmare unable to activate it and a handshake seals the game.
Nate Forte wins this battle of champions with T.G. Madolche over Kevin Silva’s HAT deck to move on with hopes of Top 32 here in our Inaugural Circuit Series Championship!
