Alright here is our Top 32 Feature Match for the first ever ARG Circuit Championship here in Cleveland, OH. We have an awesome match coming to you. We have someone who we saw yesterday in a few feature matches Larry Musgrove from Cincinnati, OH and he is playing Geargiakuri. His opponent Pedro Parreno from New York City, New York and he is playing Madolche. Pedro rolls a 9 to Larry’s 5 and he opts to go first. Let’s get right into it.
Game 1
Pedro leads off with Madolche Anjelly tributing it to Special Summon Madolche Hootcake. Hootcake’s effect banishes the Anjelly to Special Summon Messengelato and searches Madolche Ticket. He activates the Ticket and sets two to end.
Larry opens with Geargiano MK-II, Solemn Warning, Mystical Space Typhoon, Book of Moon, and he draws Geargiarsenal for turn. He summons it and tributes it to get Geargiarmor from the deck. He sets Geargiarmor with its effect and passes with 4 set cards.
Pedro summons Madolche Magileine and its effect is shut off by Fiendish Chain. He Xyz Summons into Diamond Dire Wolf and its summon is negated by Solemn Warning putting Larry at 6000. He presses on banishing Magileine to Special Summon Madolche Messengelato and search Madolche Chateau. On the activation of Chateau Larry Mystical Space Typhoons Madolche Ticket. Pedro continues and attacks over the set Geargiarmor with Messengelato and Hootcake attacks directly for 2100 dropping Larry to 5900. He ends and Hootcake is shuffle back into the deck by Anjelly's effect.
Larry draws Bottomless Trap Hole for turn and Summons Geargiano-MKII but it’s shut down by Fiendish Chain, so he sets a back row to end.
Pedro attacks over the MK-II for 1100 dropping Larry to 4800. He passes with that.
Larry draws Geargiacclerator for his turn. He sets it and passes.
Pedro Mind Controls the Geargiaccelerator and flips it face up but it’s flipped back facedown with Book of Moon. Hootcake is Normal Summoned an Bottomless Trap Hole is chained but Forbidden Lance saves Hootcake. Hootcake banishes Messengelato from the Graveyard and Special Summons Anjelly from deck. He tributes it to Special Summon Messengelato from the deck and Larry concedes with that.
Pedro resolves multiple Hootcake effects and takes Game 1 while Larry couldn’t put anything together. Larry decides to go first.
Game 2
Larry opens with Geargiarmor, Geargiaccelerator, Genex Ally Birdman, Mystical Space Typhoon, and Book of Moon. He summons Geargiarmor, specials Geargiaccelerator, reveals Birdman and bounces it for Birdman. He Special Summons Geargiaccelerator again and Synchros into Karakuri Shogun mdl 000 “Burei" and Special Summons Karakuri Watchdog mdl 313 “Saizan", Geargiarmor goes facedown and Burei flips it face up to search a Geargiaccelerator and Special Summons it. He Synchros into Karakuri Steel Shogun mdl 00x “Bureido” and Special Summons Karakuri Strategist mdl 248 “Nishipachi” and it uses its effect to change itself to defense and draws Trap Stun with Bureido’s effect. He synchros into another Burei and Uses both Burei’s to Xyz Summon Mecha Phantom Beast Dracossack. Dracossack’s effect is activated to Special Summon two tokens in Defense Position.
Pedro Normal Summons Traptrix Myrmeleo to search Bottomless Trap Hole. He sets 2 back row and ends.
Larry draws Effect Veiler for turn. He attacks directly for 2800 putting Pedro at 5200 after destroying Myrmeleo with Dracossack. He ends with that.
Pedro Normal Summons Madolche Mewfeuille but gets shut down by Effect Veiler and he passes back to Larry.
Larry draws for turn and attacks with Draco over Mewfeuille for 2100, shuffling it back in and dropping Pedro to 3100 and directly with Bureido and Geargiaccelerator for game!
Larry takes a commanding game 2 and takes us to a game 3. Pedro will be going first in Game 3.
Game 3
Pedro opens with a set monster and 2 back row.
Larry opens with Geargiano, 2 Geargiaccelerator, Solemn Warning and Black Horn of Heaven. He draws Mystical Space Typhoon for turn. He sets Geargiano and 3 back row to end.
Pedro Normal Summons Madolche Anjelly but it gets Solemn Warning’d. He sets 1 back row and passes.
Larry draws Geargiarsenal for his turn. He Normal Summons Geargiarsenal and tributes it for Geargiarmor. The Geargiarmor sets itself facedown and passes.
Pedro sets another back row to end.
Larry draws Trap Stun for turn. He Flip Summons Armor and Pedro activates Fiendish Chain but Mystical Space Typhoon destroys it and Geargiarmor searches Geargiano MK-II. He sets the Geargiarmor back facedown to end his turn.
Pedro sets another back row and ends.
Larry activates Trap Stun and Flip summons Geargiarmor to search his third Geargiaccelerator to his hand. He Flip Summons Geargiano and tributes it to bring back Geargiarsenal. He Xyz Summons Gear Gigant X with Geargiarsenal and Geargiaccelerator and uses the effect to search Genex Ally Birdman, He Special Summons Geargiaccelerator and reveals and bounces Geargiaccelerator for Birdman. 2 Geargiaccelerators are Special Summoned and Pedro concedes!
