What's up boys and girls, its T-Time! Welcome to another Thunder Thursday. So instead of doing another deck like I have been in the past weeks, I have decided to have some fun. Much like Frazier's article earlier this week, if you came for some Yu-Gi-Oh insight, I have to suggest another article. However, if you are looking for a good read and the answers to the many mysteries of the universe and potentially the meaning of life, then I advise you stay on.
So during movies, I can't help but to watch and compare each character to each person that I am with or friends with. For example, when watching friends I like to pretend I am Joey and that my friend Dave is Rachel. Most of my friends get annoyed that I do this so frequently because I constantly point to the most attractive, funny, and desirable character and announce that he is “an Al”. So I know that I am not the only one who does this, or even says it out loud for that matter. When I was in the car on my way to the ARG Regional in Cleveland this past weekend, I compared the ARG team to different Dragon Ball Z characters. Jeff put down the results as a status that received over 100 Likes in just under a hour. Well with that being said, get ready for the most obnoxious article I have ever written.
If the ARG team were Dragonball Z Characters...
I would be Krillin. I always die in the last round, I tend to be a comic relief character, and I have been around since the beginning.
Billy would be Goku. He is naive is always way too nice regardless of what happens. Plus he is always the good guy and squeaky clean. He is the most powerful of us...
Jeff would be Vegeta. He is rouge and is always arrogant and aloof. Plus he is the prince of all homosexuals. That is an impressive feat...
Joe G is Tien. He is tall, arrogant, serious, and never gets as much credit as he deserves. I mean, he saved Gohan from Buu! He saved 18 from Cell! Well, then there was that awkward fight with Nappa...
Paul is Chiaotzu. Do you need any further explanation?
Frazier is Piccolo. He is quiet, calculating, and used to be guardian of the Earth! Plus, Piccolo is traditionally the black guy in memes...
Joe B is Yamcha. Do I really need to explain THIS one? Sorry, bud...
Mike is Gohan. He hasn't been in that many battles, but he could be stronger than ALL of us! Besides, he has a daughter. The down side is that her name isn't Pan...
Tyler is Hercule. If you could imagine the Hercule voice, “I'm the national champ! I am the man who defeated Cell, I mean Jarel!”
Patrick is Supreme Kai. He is always acts when necessary and dies on the bubble as well. His theory is great though!
Cordero is Bulma. He is one of the most popular characters, yet never gets involved in any of the battles.
So lets do this again... If the ARG team were Marvel super heroes...
I would be Ironman. I am witty and more involved with the corporation than I am with the team these days. Plus, many people who know me can tell that I am an egomaniac.
Billy would be Thor. He is almost a god! Plus with all of that beard, I feel like they could easily be confused for each other. There are also times when I think he is from another planet...
Jeff would be Deadpool. A completely different kind of hero who is creative and witty. Plus he probably likes being compared to Ryan Reynolds.
Joe G would be Captain America. First of all, he is a history major. Second of all, he is also very incorruptible and helped boost heroes. Seems like a fair pick to me.
Paul would be Captain America's friend who gets thrown off of that train... Just kidding, Paul would be Spider Man. He is funny, young, and tends to get the short end of the stick. However, regardless, he is always a fan favorite.
Frazier is the Hulk. I don't know why he is constantly getting green characters, but here ya go. Frazier is generally a smart and focused guy, but when he gets mad, look out!
Joe B would be Punisher. The Punisher is rough and tumble, and I think that defines Joe pretty well.
Mike would be Daredevil. He is quiet and takes everything in, that would explain why he does so well during the fewer events that he plays in. He also is more mysterious.
Tyler is Electra. Mostly because I couldn't think of a more insulting hero. Maybe Ant Man...
Patrick is Professor X. He is constantly thinking, testing, and coming up with theory. He tries to do the most logical move as often as possible. Plus he loves to connect to Cerebro, aka Duelist Grounds.
Cordero is Black Widow. The HBIC would be Black Rose Dragon if he were a card, since he considers himself the Black Rose. Why not add a sting and be the Black Widow? Besides, he may have as many fan boys as Scarlett Johansson.
I won't keep this going since this is silly and entirely my opinion. What I want to do is to draw out your opinion as the readers! Who do you think the ARG team would be? I am going to give you guys a few ideas to fill out and I hope you do so in the comments below!
