Both players made it to the top 4 of the tournament today, but unfortunately lost out and would now be facing off for the 3rd place. We’ve seen this match-up countless times throughout the format, so let’s get right to it. Steve won the die roll so he’d be starting this match off. He activated Gold Sarcophagus banishing Tempest. He searched a Dragunity Phalanx off of the Tempest and then proceeded to Sacred Sword his Blaster away. He searched another Blaster via Blaster’s effect. Cards of Consonance came next, ditching the Phalanx he had just searched. Dragunity Dux took the Read more

Eaton Guo and Sean McCabe meet for the first time during the weekend in the finals! McCabe and Guo are the only two players from the Top 16 cut not using some variant of Dragon Rulers. Who will prevail, Evilswarm Ophion or Constellar Pleiades? McCabe won the die roll and elected to go first in the finals! He started by summoning Constellar Algiedi and Pollux and finished with Constellar Omega! He set four cards in the spell and trap zone and ended. Guo contemplated his options for a while, but finally activated Allure of Darkness and banished Evilswarm Mandragora. He Read more
There’s always those stories of the odd rogue deck tearing through a tournament’s fiber as, for whatever reason, it manages to defy the law of the meta. From the shackles of oppressive attrition they struggle and rarely ever are they rewarded for it. So it is that we bring you a match unthinkable for many this deep into the ARG Circuit. GAME 1 Musgrove started things off by banishing Blaster with Gold Sarcophagus to add Blaster. He then pitched Flamvell Guard with Consonance to draw two. This was followed by pitching Corsesca with Tempest to search Tidal. Finally, he Read more
George North is here in the top 8 with the most represented deck of the tournament, Dragon Rulers. Steve Klaus is here representing the version that has seemingly fallen out of favor, Dragunity Rulers. Both of these competitiors have made it this far, and they’re both hoping to advance to the top 4. George is taking first today, and he opened with a hand of Tempest, Card Trooper, Return from the Different Dimension, Debris Dragon, Cards of Consonance and Dark Hole. He summoned Card Trooper and milled Raigeki Break, Sacred Sword of the Seven Stars and Tidal. He passed turn. Read more
Duelists Nathan Ura and Larry Musgrove are both playing Dragon Rulers in Top 16, each bringing their own special tech choices to the game! At the beginning of the match, Ura offered to side out Return from a Different Dimension for games two and three, but Musgrove refused the offer! Musgrove won three games with Return from a Different Dimension yesterday and wants to capitalize on its explosive power again today! Ura constantly whistled whilst sleeving his deck with the fresh sleeves ARG provided Top 16 players, but it didn’t give him the power to win the die roll. Musgrove Read more
Another Dragon Mirror match with Dominique Roberts and Larry Musgrove in top 8! Roberts won the die roll! Roberts opened up with a hand of Dragon Ravine, Redox, Dragon Ruler of Boulders, White Stone of Legend, Blue-Eyes White Dragon, Trigon, Cards of Consonance. He activated Cards of Consonance, discarding White Stone of Legend but did not search any Blue-Eyes White Dragon! He then activated Dragon Dragon Ravine and discarded Trigon to send Tempest, Dragon Ruler of Storms from his deck to his graveyard. Roberts continued and banished a Blue-Eyes White Dragon and Tempest from his from his hand and a Read more
